Part of delivering the best care for our patients is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our clients as possible by offering several payment options. Millerton Veterinary Practice, PLLC requires payment in full at the end of your pet’s examination and/or at the time of discharge.

For some treatments or hospitalized care, a deposit may be required. Healthcare plans requiring comprehensive care excess of $100 will require a deposit to begin your pet’s treatment.

CareCredit: When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Millerton Veterinary Practice understands this and accepts payment through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments. You can apply yourself online at CareCredit.com.

Scratchpay: Getting help with an unexpected veterinary bill has never been easier. Scratch leverages online data to quickly assess risk, determine a credit rating, and assign appropriate interest rates. Upon approval, your vet is paid and your pet gets the care they need. There are no hidden fees or retroactive interest charges – just simple, affordable options for pet owners in need.

Pet insurance is a great option to make caring for your pet affordable, and ensure that they receive the care they need, when they need it. With most pet insurance plans, you pay the veterinarian up front and are reimbursed by your insurance provider after filing a claim. Most often, we recommend Trupanion and Nationwide to our clients.
